Hush Hush Puppies Love

So here's what. I've got a new pair of favorite shoes. My old Timbs were wearing out and properly mangly anyway since i never clean my shoes.

I got me these new Hush Puppies the other day and havent gone a day out without wearing them. I think i'm gonna get another piare just like them.

Oh the good thing about all this though is that my shoe size has gone down by one size. How's that possible you ask?

Well seems like i've spent the last 5 years or so believing my feet were a size 11 when they were actually 10. I didnt mind the gaps at the front of my shoes cos they made it a tad more comfy but it never occured to me to try getting one size smaller until the salesgirl suggested i try a 10.

Normally i woulda growled at her, cussed her momma and asked her to look to see whether i looked like a size 10. But she was cute... i think so i said.. "What the hell, it cant hurt!" ... and guess what, it didnt hurt. It fit quite perfectly actually.

So no more runnig around shops all day cos i cant find shows my size that i like. Grr.... it was always, "if you leave your details, we'll call you when we got one of them in" or "Let me go get 2 cows and kill them to make shoes your size, you extremely well hung black guy!!"

Well maybe not the second bit, but yeah one thing i'll miss about being a size 11 is the assumption by most people that i'm extremely well hung. (Which i am by the way).

New Gadget: O2 XDA IIs

To go with my new shoes and shoe size I got me a new PDA phone (O2 XDA IIs)from O2 that runs on Windows Mobile Edition 2003. Great stuff, i'm still playing with it so havent done much with it yet, but i'll see what i can do with it.

I'm currently looking at XDA Developers for stuff to do with it including hacks, mods and accessories so i expect to spend a lot of my spare time and cash in the next few weeks doing that. Hell i didnt even play any Halo 2 over the last weekend cos i was fiddling about with it.

I'll look more into Skype for Pocket PC and hopefully i can make a few calls for free or relatively cheap through VOIP.

Milky Hot Chocolatey Intolerance

I dunno why but i'm luvving these coffee cups. of course i dont drink coffee though so mine contains hot chocolate.

[10mins later] Grr... well i've been having and early morning hot chocolate 3 days in a row and today i thought i'd try it with a lil bit more milk than usual and the end result is where i've been these last 10 minutes!

I wont admit it to myself but i know on a subconscious level that i'm intolerant to milk and on that same level of unconciousness, i see not being able to hold ones food down as some sort of weakness.

I s'pose the one good deal i get out of all this is that i love holding these cofee cups. They fit well in my hand and are easy to drink from (I wonder who invented them).

In fact the title of this entry was gonna be "coffee cup" initially until i had a call to the lil' boys room. Umm... TMI? Yeah whatever... this whole site is Too Much Information.

London Underground: The Slow Fast Lane

Moving to London 5 years ago, it didnt take me long to figure out that u werent allowed to stand on the left on the escalators. Maybe it was the fact that it was plastered all over the place ..."Please stand on the right". Or more for the reason that, the only way u can get someone to say a single word to you on the London Underground (the Tube if you may) was to stand on the left. Hell if you're lucky you might even get someone to be rude to you.

Anyway... i'm just figuring out these past few weeks that the idea behind standing on the right is so theres sort of a fast lane for people who've got so much energy to walk/run/sprint [delete as applicable] down the escalators if they so wish.

Now the problem arises where even among the "people in a hurry" there are levels of how much in a hurry one can be. Some people walk down the escalators but put no soul in it... it's like they're only taking a step every 2 seconds just to qualify to be in the fast lane, but slow enough to piss u off if you're behind them.

I think i'm gonna smack someone in the back of the head one of these days. Maybe i'll just hold onto that thought because i also find that its possible to weave inbetween the traffic of the fast lane and the other lane and sometimes even go up to the full speed of sto steps at a time in the supposed slow lane.

New Ninjai Chapter & Karma Kula Forever Coming Soon

Some of us have had to wait for umm... well i lost count. Maybe over a year since chapter 10 ... be right back lemme check how long ago it was...

Back. Yeah so i found out about Ninjai in may of 2002. And this old entry of mine talking about Ninjai was made in September 2002 when chapter 8 had just been published.

So on a pure guestimate [i'm too lazy to find out]... looks like a two year wait just ot get Chapter 11.

And the good news is that Chapter 12 is coming out soon. We've even been given a firm date of March 14 which hopefully wouldnt turn out to be another KarmaKula type coming soon.

As they say...

That was way back in 2003... and i swear you've never seen anticipation built up like that before. I know knowing about Karma Kula apart from that teaser and i'd give anything to see a KK movie or KK game. Bring it on already.

Bum Knee

I've got too many gadgets to play with, too many downloaded TV shows to watch, too many pirated movies to see that i cant ever seem to get round to blogging.

I draft it all in my mind but i cant seem to go that step further and convert it to the key strokes that i need for it to end up here.

In any case, my brain isn't what this entry is about. My knee. It hurts. I cant gallop down the stairs on the tube as fast and if i bend it just right... it hurts. Don't worry, I've stopped bending it just right since I've proved the point to myself that it hurts in that position of "_just_ right".

I should go see my doctor about it but i really cant be arsed. I don't have the time for stuff like that.

Talking about doctors and related pet hates.. I've signed up for a dental plan thru my Carphone Warehouse employee benefit scheme. I think It WPA or summink of that sort. Anyway, their policy means i cant claim during the first three months that i sign up with them which works just as well for me cos they do the procrastination for me and i only have to take over in 2 more months.

But then again, I digress. It all about my bum knee.

Web Radar: Balance the Drunk

Every now and then a really pointless flash game comes around that you cant stop playing.

Such is the nature of Wagenschenke which is German for "Why cant you walk straight? Is it cos you been smoking and drinking and now all the shops are closed so you have to walk down a dark alley way and hope not to get mugged?" No really... it is.

I only managed 30 meters so far but unlike some people, I dont have that much real life experience.

On the scale of 1 to 5 where 5 is "Fly the Copter" i give this 3 and 3/4.

Bummer Knee/Faf The Hulk

Its not funny anymore... It hurrrrts even more than before. I have to amit now it's crossed my mind to go see the doctor, y'kno get some exrays on the knee to see if theres anything i should really worry about.

While at it i might have my middle finger on my right hand looked at as well. Its felt like a zombie finger for so long i cant remember. At least 7years.

Anyway... I managed to rip one of my favorite shirts today... purely from use. Its about 3 years old.. i think and today the elbow ripped a bit at work so when i got home i thought i'd do my "dont get me angry" impersonation.

How you like that now huh? Grrr...
