What do they say about whatever can go wrong going wrong when it matters the most?

Well things are going on well at work. Getting put in charge of bigger projects as they come. Something comes up in Portugal that needed me to handle it so being as i'm Ghanaian an' all, I needed a visa to Portugal but due to some complications with it [deadline related, but i wont get too much into detail], I needed to get a French visa... which oddly enough meant i had to go to France so I could go to Portugal.

The short and short of it all is that I lost an envelope containg all my travel related documents; passport, Euro tunnel ticket to france, payslips, tax documents, letters from my employers saying who i was, what i did and how much i earned as well as bank statements to boot.

**Sigh** ... Of course i had them all cancelled and put my name on a credit protection list so at least it'll make it difficult for someone to attempt to get a loan or contract phone in my name.

It still wont stop someone from taking my picture off the passport and using it to work in the UK. So long as they dont try to go out of the country and back, is'pose they're safe.

Shit happens they say.

Swing Low, But Leave the Balls Alone

No Chariots in in sight to whisk me off to work in the mornings so I, like so many other London workers, have to trek to work on The Tube.

Now as dangerous as the underground can be with nuttie waiting to push someone random onto the track for no reason and trains getting stuck underground for hours on end... nothing is scarier than the "swingers" on the underground.

You're walking behind a woman trying to get get past them cos you're in a bit of a hurry. They're sauntering like the whole world worked for them and swinging their arms madly with every step.

Do you muster enough courage to attempt to overtake and risk getting a low blow in the balls? Hmm.. i didnt think so.

I'm sure i've lost about 5days worth of my life so far walking slow so i dont get a "swing low".

Now where can i get a Kevlar protector?

Numb Head, Stiff Upper Lip

Two and a half hours after leaving the dentists. I'm sitting at my deks at work and i still cant feel half of my face. No nothing major, just had my teeth cleaned.

Considering i'd never been to a dentist in my life before this, i think i'm the kindda patient that makes dentists feel like they're needed afterall.

He was like "You plaque the size of rocks under your teeth". I know my teeth were getting bad but somehow i have a feeling Mr Ahadi(?) hadnt seen the kindda rocks that , while younger, I used to throw onto the roof the man who used to seize our football when it went into his yard.

Anyway, i digress... i hate digressing. So it all looks well. I went for the checkup last week which resulted in the appointment earlier today to get my teeth cleaned. I'm going back next month to check it and i suppose i'll go into the routine on cleaning it every six month like i really should be doing.

I'm really getting into this whole thing of taking care of my appearance now. I'll put an update soon on my hair. It's grown quite big and last time someone referred to me as the guy with the hair like a microfone.
