I'm in deep shit. And it's not the kind that can just be blamed on September 11.

Someone sent me a message over the college network. And being THIS curious I just had to figure out who was doing it. I did. Thing is, I didnt stop there... I also had to figure out how to send a message back. Guess what... I did that too. But did I stop there? Nope! I decided their way of sending messages was too tiring so I needed a quick simple interface which everyone could understand. So I opened up MS Access and fiddled with it for about 5 minutes.

What I came up with was this thing that anyone could use. It worked. Actually.. it was too good cos even before I was finished with the file, I figured out how to broadcast a message to everyone in my Workgroup [ or so I thought].

Now it turns up the college doesnt really use any workgroup-ing, there are no internal routers and no logical workgroups. This means all 500-ish computers on the collee network are one big workgroup. U're figuring it out now arent u?

Yup... so I pressed my favorite key on the keyboard, X, and moved the cursor towards the send button... Oops!

A bit too late. Cos I'm in deep shit.
