There is NOTHING wrong with being called a geek.

Well i must say that i have a friend- female -who is a smart chapette. She however gets very upset when i call her a geek playfully. Now i like to tease so just cos i know she gets worried- she doesn't want to be thought of as one- i do it. Funnily enough though shes a physics and maths major, she's going to Oxford next year for a study abroad program and she is a little on the skinny Asian look, shes still very into guys, very social almost a nympho intereted in music and all that so my problem is why so insecure??? IS it cos shes smart so shes insecure??? Smart not= Geek......
well i just wanted to say that u are probably a techie or a nerd or a whizzo or what other term for people who live in cyberspace??? but a geek.... i think is a little overdone
for a minute there, i thought u were gonna set us up, brownie.
