Disturbing news to say the least. I'm aware of witchdoctors and some rituals.Human sacrifice...murder,suicide,a hope to gain power or favor with a "gift" to a God? Will the loving and forgiving God please show yourself, or are people of any faith living in a world of fantasy and false hope? Multiple interpretations of God's Word...or gods... My doubts...human nature, or a reality check? Where do people get their sense of right and wrong? There are a lot of good people in the world...is it all coincidence? My God is there for me to trust when I need something more than myself, or other earthly beings to trust. I need to feel that there is something wiser and stronger than mere humans in control. A weakness, or true faith in things I cannot see...I guess I'm somewhere in the middle, but if forced to the wall, I have to gamble on the existance of a caring God...because no one has proven there isn't one...or do all the horrors of this world prove otherwise? I believe in Chistianity...and that God has given humans free will to choose their own paths, is that just an excuse for some to be "good" and some to be "evil"? I don't know. Religion, it's all so complex... A possibly West African (not necessarily Ghanaian) child brought all the way to UK for sacrifice...sounds so surreal, and frightening. Police can't really believe they will find killers...or the country of origin of the boy...or his family? Man's inhumanity to man, the world over...whatever the purpose...We all need to reflect on the value of human life...beginning with the thought of losing someone near to us, and expand on that feeling of loss...to bring empathy,caring feelings,love and respect for all indvidual human life into our hearts...because to live any other way, for whatever reason...causes pain...to someone, somewhere.Only a sick mind can gain joy from that. Live and let live...giving each and everyone else their right to live without fear of harm... I'm looking for Utopia and know it doesn't exist...oh well...anyway...thanks for the "food for thought"...will be checking for other views on this vast subject...love your site, FAF...no " " :).
