A few trivial things i missed while away in Ghana were my weekly dosage of Juicyfruit (chewing gum), Sunny Delight and the supposedly Ghanaian bread from my corner shop.
I came back tho and i'm yet to get any of those... i seem to have found some new poisons for myself. Apple juice seems to have replaced Sunny delight.
I take out £10 and stock the fridge with them and still manage to drink it all before the week is out. Of course that means you're more likely to find me standing in front of the bowl pissing.
I've also just been introduced to the so called "Late breakfast" pizza. It's pizza topped with eggs and bacon with tomato and onions... but i customize with prawns in place of the onions.
I think i'll definitely be going back to the Ghanaian bread and the juicyfruit once i get back into my routine. Now it looks like it'll take a while to get the pictures back online so i'll try to post one pic with every entry until i can put the whole bulk of 'em up.
Talking about pictures.. I just found out Carphone Warehouse[1] (I work for them) are now offering some photo printing services[2] in conjunction with Photobox. Of course as an employee i get 30% of all orders which is great!
I printed out about 50 images and the quality is great so i'll start printing out as many pics as i can.
Ok ok... i'll feed you your pic:
Picture was taking in Kumasi where i spent 2 days visiting my grandmother and nieces. There's a really scary story involving planes and turbulence but i'll tell that later.
From Left:
1. Helena - cousin
2. Wofa Bernard - Uncle
3. Auntie Ceci - Auntie (strangely enough) -- she's my mum's big sis. Does look her age at all though
4. Abena Akyeama - Niece. My sisters first kid. Pushing 4 and talks a LOT
5. Abena Kuma - Granma. My mom's mother.
6. Faf - Me. Moi. Me ankasa.
7. Abena Agyeiwaa - My sister's second. She misses London and loves Halo[4]
8. Nana Mansa - Cousin. She hates turbulence.
